Oil Analysis
If you are truly interested in just how well your engine in holding up, you need to take a look inside. No, I'm not suggesting you start tearing apart the family car this weekend. Why not let a laboratory do the dirty work and tell you what the inside of your engine looks like while you sit back and relax instead. A simple sample of oil pulled from the engine and sent to Oil Analyzers Inc. will tell you if anything is wearing prematurely and the condition of your oil. They will send back the results with a complete breakdown and recommendations of continued use, changing just the filter and topping off with an added quart or if a complete oil change is needed. I personally had over 13,000 miles on my oil and the sample came back "suitable for continued use. Resample at next regular interval"!
